  1. UNINSTALLING 
  2. ============

  4.         FROM WINDOWS 3.x :
  5.            1) Go to File Manager
  6.            2) Double left click the directory which 
  7.               contains the program.
  8.  
  9.               * This is c:\windows\games if you did 
  10.               not change it at the time of installation. 
  11.            
  12.            3) Delete the main program name and its
  13.               related files.
  14.  
  15.               Note: The related files all start with
  16.               the same name as the main program.
  17.  
  18.               Example:      filename.gam
  19.                             filename.img
  20.                             filename.mtf
  21.                             filename.mus
  22.                             filename.snd
  23.                             filename.exe
  24.                             filename.wri
  25.  
  26.            4) If this was your only program made with 
  27.               Klik & Play, then you should also delete 
  28.               2 other files.
  29.  
  30.                   KNPS.DLL  and  KNPG.DLL
  31.               
  32.               These programs are usually located in the 
  33.               Windows directory. Use File Manager to 
  34.               find these files and then delete them.
  35.  
  36.            5) Finally, while in Program Manager, hilight 
  37.               the icon for the game being deleted.
  38.               The name under the icon should be hilighted
  39.               and there should be no menu exposed on the
  40.               icon.  If there is, hit the ESC key.
  41.               Then hit the Delete key to remove the icon
  42.               from the desktop.

  44.         FROM WINDOWS 95
  45.         ===============

  47.            1) Left-Click on the My Computer icon. 
  48.            2) Left-Click on the drive C icon
  49.               or whatever drive contains the program.
  50.            3) Left-Click on the directory which 
  51.               contains the game to be removed.
  52.               
  53.               * This is c:\windows\games if you did 
  54.               not change it at the time of installation.

  56.            4) Hilight all of the files which begin with 
  57.               the same name as the program to be removed.
  58.               
  59.               Note: The related files all start with
  60.               the same name as the main program.

  62.               Example:      filename.gam

  64.                             filename.mtf
  65.                             filename.mus
  66.                             filename.snd
  67.                             filename.exe

  70.               ( You can hilight more than one file by either
  71.               holding down the CTRL key and left-clicking 
  72.               once on the icon or by dragging a box around
  73.               the files.)

  75.            5) After you have hilighted the desired files, hit
  76.               the delete key. You will be asked if you want to
  77.               send these files to the Recycle Bin. Say YES.

  79.            6) If there are no more games on your computer that
  80.               were made with Klik & Play, you can also remove 
  81.               the files KNPS.DLL and KNPG.DLL from the Windows
  82.               directory.

  84.            7) If you created a shortcut to the game, remove 
  85.               that by Right-clicking on the icon on the Desktop
  86.               and then left-clicking on Delete.

  88.            8) Fianally, you need to remove the program from 
  89.               your Start Menu.  Right-click on an empty grey
  90.               portion of the TaskBar. Then left-click on the 
  91.               word "Properties" at the bottom of the little menu.
  92.               Choose "Start Menu Programs" on the screen that
  93.               appears. Then choose "Remove" .

  95.            9) A "tree" is displayed. Find the folder which 
  96.               contains the program. Left-click once on the
  97.               "+" sign to open the folder. Right-click once
  98.               on the program name to high-light it. Then 
  99.               left-click the "Remove" button. Follow the
  100.               instructions.

  102.           10) Close all windows when you are finished.
